5th Pocket Skateparks - Equipment stolen
Donation protected
Rich from Dogwood here to share the unfortunate news that during a job in Michigan, 5th Pocket Skateparks had over $15,000 worth of tools and equipment stolen from their jobsite container. Regretfully, insurance is unlikely to cover these costs. Anyone who knows the owners, Jesse and Sloan, as well as the rest of the 5th Pocket crew, they are a staple to the skate community. They have led efforts to help communities get quality skateparks built worldwide. From backyards in NJ to mountain ranges in Nepal, they regularly volunteer their time, tools, and skill to help people. They are in a really tough spot, stuck in Detroit at the moment and could use a little help.
This fundraiser has been created to help the 5th Pocket team recuperate their losses and help them buy replacement equipment so they can complete their project in Michigan and continue to build parks. If you're in a position to help, it would be greatly appreciated!
