Funeral & burial expenses for Debra Johnson

It's with a heavy heart that I am writing this post. My best friend of 24 years lost her Mom this morning after a 2 year battle of anoxic brain injury. She was making strides in her recovery process but her body just couldn't continue to fight. For all of those that knew Debby she wasn't just my second mom but she was the " neighborhood mom" She welcomed every kid in the neighborhood into her home, Fed us all after school snacks and gave us a safe space to hang out after school and the weekends even though we drove her crazy just so she could keep an eye on us and keep us from running the streets and getting into any trouble. She was a hard working single mom who worked tirelessly just to keep not only her children but also her grandchildren in a good neighborhood with a good school district. Her last wishes were to buried with her late mom and dad in Thier family cemetery, but since her injury in 2021 Cortney has incurred the financial responsibility for her rehab and hospital bills and also has been keeping her mom's apartment and car payments current in the hope that she would one day wake up and come back home. Unfortunately because of this she does not have the funds to provide her mom with her last wishes. I'm asking for anyone and everyone to share this post and if possible to please help give this incredibly strong and loving mom and grandmother the final send off that she not only wanted so desperately but that she deserves.
