Angel's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On Monday February 12th 2024, Angel was having a normal day. She went to work that morning, after work she went to her son's house to see her grandbabies like she always did. Her granddaughter Kinslee wanted to go stay the night with her "meemaw" so they headed to her house Monday evening. She started feeling weird when she was almost home, but thankfully they made it to her house okay. She knew something wasn't right so she tried calling her friend for help. He couldn't understand what she was saying, but she was able to say the word "yes" when he asked if she needed him to come there. After that phonecall she collapsed and fell in the grass completely unconscious, while her granddaughter was still strapped in her car seat scared, cold, crying, and not understanding what happened to her meemaw. (we fully believe she fought for the strength to call for help because of her) Once the close friend got there he immediately called 911 for help. Once they got there she was taken to Russellville to be transferred in a helicopter to be lifelined to Indianapolis where it was determined that she had suffered from a major stroke. Immediately after, they rushed her to perform a thrombectomy to remove the bloodclot from her brain. As of now she is still in the hospital. She has to have speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. Her life has been completely turned upside down. She can't talk, she can't drive, she can't work. It's a struggle to use the right side of her body. She has a very long and hard road to recovery.. And despite all of this, she still hasn't lost her spirit. Angel is such a great person who loves her friends, family, and her doggies. She helps everyone and would give the shirt off her back if needed. Now she is the one who needs help which is why I have created this GoFundMe. Her job was her only source of income. I would like to take some of the stress off of her and the family by raising enough money to help with all of her expenses while she is recovering. If you can't donate, sharing is also very much appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read Angel's story.
All money raised will go directly to her son Geosua, who is overseeing all of her care.
