Hey everyone. My name's Danny, aka Craft-D. I'm a rapper, poet, and supporter of Jeremy Corbyn. Thanks to the support of many people across social media, I am releasing the single for #LetterToCorbyn, a song I wrote to represent how I feel about Jeremy, in a way I sadly feel is not represented by our media in the UK.
The messages of support for the song have been overwhelming, I can hardly believe it surpassed 100k views on Twitter, and it's been a joy to read so many lovely comments. I'm even sending a physical copy of the lyrics to Jeremy, and getting a jar of his famous jam in return!
Many of you wanted to see this song released properly, and even offered to contribute to any costs. I have subsequently set up this small fundraiser for £500 just to cover some basic costs such as the worldwide streaming services and distribution, leasing costs, audio production, single artwork.
Then if it can reach a stretch target of £750, I will release a music video alongside the single.
And that's the total amount needed. But if there was any excess at all, it'd go to a charity of Jeremy's choice, as will a big % of the eventual streams/downloads/sales of the single.
