Maria De Jesús Funeral expenses

Hi my name is Amy Solano-Amador daughter of Alva Amador and granddaughter of Maria Flores . I’m raising funds for my grandmother as she passed away on September 21 2024. My grandmother (Maria) was born on raised in Honduras. She helped my mom and me come to Canada for a chance at a better life. She stayed in Honduras so that we could afford to come to Canada. We went 10 years without seeing her and then finally my mom was able to bring her to Canada to finally see her in 2017. Since then she has come to visit us 5 times. I didn’t expect to find her passed out on the front steps on my way back from university. Up until that moment she lived a good life and she cared for me, my mom, and all her grandchildren in Canada and Honduras. Although coming from a troubled background she learned to overcome that and always be there when my mom needed her. Whether that was to talk all night on the phone or bring back sweet delicacy’s from Honduras. She did this to show her appreciation for the great woman she raised that’s she’s fortunate to call her daughter. Although she was raised in Honduras, Canada became her new home. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of her funeral and medical bills. We want to be able to honor her and want to use this funding to help do that. We want to give her this final wish of being left in her new home.
