In 1976 at Hot Springs, Arkansas, Linda Edwards was a young single mother trying to make a better life for her family. She was given a chance to improve when hired by the local sheriff as the first uniformed female deputy. In August of 1976 she disappeared. Her remains were discovered atop a mountain in a nearby county several months later. She was pregnant. Both she and her unborn child’s skeletal remains were buried together. A massive Arkansas State Police investigation ultimately led to the arrest of a Hot Springs City Police Lieutenant charged with murder. Long questionable legal wrangling ended with charges being dropped. The investigation is still open. The story needs to be told. It’s time. Will you consider donating to assist in the production of a professional documentary reel to help bring some resolution to Linda’s remaining family. Your donation will assist in production costs including a professional editing and camera team and other related expenses. There will likely also be the need for some forensic testing fees.
We are the only production group that has obtained the entire Arkansas State Police file. You can view a website maintained by Linda’s son Toby who was six at the time of his mother’s murder.
