Cindy's hospice care

Hi! My name is Carrie and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of Cindy Gold. Cindy has long delighted everyone who knows her with her kindness, selflessness, and wit. She is a fun, positive person who loves travel, animals, people, and cheesecake. In April 2021 Cindy was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. It has been a grueling two years of chemotherapy, radiation, and disappointment. Unfortunately, due to the fact insurance (not doctors) determines treatment, Cindy's treatment started late and has ultimately been unsuccessful. Now with end-stage cancer, Cindy is at home in hospice. Her doctor has determined to do no more treatment. Having exhausted her savings and her disability not even covering half her rent, Cindy finds herself in the position of needing help from her friends and the community of caring people at large. No donation is too small. And, sharing is free!
