Help Me With Grad School Tuition!
Hello!
I want to attend graduate school this fall, but I need your help.
The MSHN Program at Hawthorn University is a master's degree program in holistic nutrition and wellness that will give me the training and skills to help myself and others to use diet and nutrition to improve their health, and achieve their wellness goals (http://hawthornuniversity.org)
My wife has spent years battling with Lupus, a serious auto-immune disease, and we have travelled to different countries and have thousands of dollars of medical bills, and conventional medicine has been successful only at temporarily improving symptoms. As we continue learning about natural, holistic medicine, and putting our knowledge into practice, we have been able to improve our health, reduce medications, and continue living a normal life. I hope to use my knowledge gained in this program to help others to understand the tragic effects of poor nutrition, and to optimize their health.
During my wife's illness, most medical doctors gave us very little hope for any long-term healing, and told us that regular hospital visits would be the norm. Most doctors we saw were totally oblivious or opposed to using natural treatments. After two hospital visits in one year left us with $65,000 in medical bills, I realized that the conventional medical system wasn't working, but I didn't know what to do, or who to trust. I began reading books on alternative medicine, and the more I read, the more astonished I am by the potential healing powers of herbs and dietary intervention. It's amazing to read medical studies about medicinal plants, and proven supplements. Modern science is only beginning to learn about adaptogenic herbs that have the power to preserve health and reverse disease, the same herbs that have been used for centuries in China, India, and Africa.

Any money given directly to me will be kept in a savings/investment until I am able to begin classes.
I plan to begin classes this Fall (2014), but could start sooner.
Thanks!!!
