Robert Britt's Medical Fund
Donation protected
My name is Jenny Bernardi and Robert Britt is my brother-in-law. Bob or Bobby as many people call him, is a caring father to three wonderful boys (Nicolas -16 Alex and Chris -13 ) and loving husband to his wife Carrie and he is very sick.
Bob has been in the hospital fighting a very serious illness. He went to the ER on August 31st with severe stomach pains. Surgery was done, but as Bob predicted before the surgery, there have been many complications. He was put into a medically induced coma and intubated on Tuesday. He continues to have issues with his kidneys, heart, lungs as well as low blood pressure. He has been in the ICU for the past week and is considered the most serious case in the hospital. Bob is no longer under sedation, and we are waiting for him to wake up. We do not know what the lasting affects will be, but we can expect a long recuperation due to the severe trauma to Bob's organs and body.
The outpouring of support has been tremendous. So many people have reached out to his family to show support and to ask how they can help. This journey to recovery will be a slow and long one. Because of this, I am asking for donations to help support Bob and his family. The medical costs will be considerable, and without two incomes it will be difficult to provide Bob with the extensive care he will need as he heals. By relieving some of the financial stress, we can help Bob and his family focus on healing.
Bob has made it a point to fill people's lives with laughter and always give help when it is needed. His humor and caring nature has had such a positive impact on the lives of those around him. I hope we can pay it forward and help Bob and his family during this difficult time.
Thank you for your support and please pray for a speedy recovery for Bob.
