Support the Morales Family After Eaton Fire

My name is Madison and I lived at 744 East Palm Street in Altadena. My house was built by my grandparents, and was the home that my mom, my brother, and I had grown up in our whole lives. On January 7th the Eaton fire exploded in size throughout the night taking Altadena with it. My mom and I woke up at 1:30 am to the fire now a couple blocks away from our house and were told to evacuate immediately. In a matter of minutes we were supposed to pack, essentially what was our whole lives in a bag, and get out. I am so grateful that both my mom and I were able to make it out safely, however scrambling to get our belongings we were forced to evacuate with only 1 of our 3 cats, some electronics, important documents, and photo albums. As of right now we are renting out an Airbnb where we plan to stay until we figure out what to do from here. It’s going to be an extremely difficult and tedious process to replace all of our belongings but we are most focused on clothes and important supplies so that we can return to school, work, sports, etc. Any and all support is extremely appreciated as we try to get through this devastating and difficult situation.
