Hi all! As you all know by now I am embarking on a journey this year to hike the Pacific Crest Trail—a 6-month, 2,650-mile trek through deserts, forests, and mountain passes—all while living outdoors. This challenge is more than an adventure; it’s a mission to raise funds for two charities that hold deep personal significance to me: Women’s Aid and Pilgrims Hospice.
Pilgrims Hospice provided extraordinary care for my grandmother during her final days, as well as for other relatives who have benefitted from their compassionate support. Their work brings comfort and dignity to patients and families during life’s most challenging moments.
Women’s Aid is another cause that is incredibly close to my heart. They provide life-saving support and advocacy for women and children facing domestic abuse, empowering them to rebuild their lives and ensuring their voices are heard.
Together with my Dad, I will take on this daunting trail to honour these charities and the impact they’ve had on my life and others’. Your support can make a real difference to these vital causes, and every step I take will be fueled by the generosity of people like you.
Thank you for joining me on this journey to create hope and change.
To follow along and see how we are fairing I’ll be documenting everything on my social pages @emzstoner
