A Mother's Journey from Darkness to Light

Hello, I'm Carissa, a newly single mom of three boys and one beautiful little girl. Escaping an abusive 8-year relationship, and now the father is incarcerated for harming yet another woman. On top finally getting the courage to leave him safely I've also managed to stop drinking and am now three years sober. I am completely devoted to being the best mother I can be to my kids. Regardless what I personally have had to overcome. Unfortunately, I lost my license due to a misunderstanding and past issues, and I need a lawyer for the board of appeals in Boston. My kids are my life, and having my license is crucial for daily activities like school and doctor visits. It's challenging to rely on others for transportation for all five of us.
