Please Help Steve

Unfortunately here we are again, my mom and I asking for prayer and any donations that you feel led to donate. My brother was diagnosed with a very rare form of rectal cancer and is at the beginning stages of stage 3. He will be going through a rigorous regimen of chemotherapy and radiation five days a week for six weeks. The doctor is hopeful that with this treatment they will be able to catch it. However it’s going to be very difficult on my brother and very painful. My brother moved to Hawaii 3 years ago and lived in a boarding house in a room the size of a closet. He was doing so well he lost 100 pounds got a job at a rental car location, however, his foot needed surgery then Covid hit so he was never able to get out of his “closet.” The doctor said it was virtually impossible for him to stay there and share a bathroom with what he will go through with this treatment. So this is where we are asking for help. For a one bedroom it will cost $3500 a month. He is booked for two months but will also need to recover for at least a month the doctor says. We are looking for less expensive alternatives however my mom is footing this bill with limited resources and we needed to get him moved right away. The doctor does not believe he has time to move to Arizona and his insurance will not cover him until he becomes a resident which is a lot of rigor that must be accomplished before he can be covered. He will also have medical expenses, may need in-home care which is not covered etc. Please pray for my brothers healing and pray for my mom as this has brought upon a lot of stress for her.
