Get Rhea Home!

It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I am making this fundraiser.

Our friend Rhea Sweatfield was diagnosed with lung cancer last December. Although we were optimistic that it was found early enough, that has now changed. She is now living with terminal cancer and in the early stages of hospice care. She has been given 2-18 months, but we all know she is a fighter and now she needs the community to help her with her fight.

Last Thursday, August 29th, just 2 days before her birthday, Rhea’s longtime home was severely damaged by an electrical fire, completely destroying her bedroom and causing severe smoke damage throughout the house. Rhea is now unable to live her final days in her home and we need to change that quickly.

I have started this campaign at $25,000. I know this community will pull through for Rhea. Our hope is we can raise enough to bring in another trailer or find a large camper that has no stairs. We need to work quickly.

If you have ever met Rhea, you met a friend. Rhea has been a resident of Benewah County since she was a child, and to know her is to love her.
