Help My Dog Brandi Get Surgery

Last week my darling Brandi Travis tore the ACL in her left knee. She can't walk on the leg at all, so my active, fun-loving dog has become nearly lame overnight. Surgery to repair the damages will be $2800. I've already spent nearly $1000 on x-rays and medication. All of the literature about this injury warns that an ACL tear will definitely occur in the other knee during her lifetime. 
To say the least, this has been an overwhelmingly difficult time. Brandi is my best friend, my baby, my family. She is so depressed and bored and in pain. We can't do any of the things we used to. I now live in a giant apartment complex and poor B has to hobble nearly a quarter of a mile just to get outside to go to the bathroom. We are reclusive and in survival mode.
It will be weeks before she can even have the surgery, and a recovery time of at least 8 weeks after. I'm hopeful that we can go on a walk around Thanksgiving to celebrate the anniversary of when I rescued her 5 years ago. 
The financial burden of this surgery makes me breathless. Overall, the costs of this injury will equate to 10% of my annual salary.
