Support for Roy Stoddart’s Family

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that after battling COVID-19 Roy passed away on May 20th.
Roy was a beloved member of the Morgan Stanley family for over 35 years. Roy was a compassionate and caring security professional who truly loved being part of the firm. He welcomed everybody with a kind smile, and took the time to get to know many of us over the years. Assisting others was in his DNA.
For those who worked in the World Trade Center, he will always be remembered as a hero, having played a critical role protecting employees during both the 1993 and 2001 terrorist attacks. In 1993, he was the last one to leave the floor, ensuring that everyone on the floor got out safely. In 2001, he was part of the team that helped with the evacuation and personally saw to it that the elderly on the 66th floor were able to get down all the stairs safely.
We are raising funds to support Roy’s only daughter, Jessica, during these trying times.
