Truth, Justice and a Farewell for Christian

On June 29, 2023, Christian Malone kissed his mother goodbye for the last time. Later that day, Christian went missing and was recovered five days later, deceased, in a water canal in Orland, California. This tragic and unexpected loss has left our family devastated, with many unanswered questions.

Christian Samuel Khalil Malone, born on May 24, 2002, was raised in Sacramento California. He graduated from Inderkum High School in 2020 and earned his Associate’s degree from American River College in 2022.

Christian was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend who significantly impacted the lives of all who knew and loved him. Christian was charismatic and had a natural talent for being in front of the camera and stealing the show. He was a cool, outgoing, athletic young man, filled with life, energy, and a world full of dreams that he was determined to achieve. Christian enjoyed exercising, dancing, listening to music, modeling, and making YouTube videos on his channel. He had a sense for fashion and style. Most importantly, he loved spending quality time with family and friends. Christian had a pure soul with a heart of gold and touched everyone he encountered in a special way.

On the morning of June 29, 2023, Christian kissed his mother, Tamara Coleman, goodbye as normal and told her he would see her later that evening. Unfortunately, Christian never returned home that night and his mother reported him missing to the authorities the next day on June 30, 2023.

Four days later on the morning of July 4, 2023, Christian’s family received heartbreaking news of Christian’s recovery. Christian was found deceased in a water canal in Orland, California, an unfamiliar area 90 minutes away from Christian’s home in Marysville, California. (News story.)

This tragic news has been absolutely devastating as Christian’s family has had to process the untimely death of this beautiful soul and loved one. Christian’s family members are committed to assuring that his untimely death is fully investigated so the truth of his disappearance and cause of death can be brought to light.

To achieve this goal, and to prepare for Christian’s homegoing, Christian’s family humbly requests donations for funeral arrangements to give Christian a service celebrating his life as he has transitioned to Glory to be with the Lord.

Christian will be forever loved, cherished, and greatly missed by family and friends as they grieve and mourn this tremendous loss.
