Donate in memory of Janette Inez Walker

Hi, my name is Falisha Doby and I am the administrator of this fundraiser for my nephew, Jasper (JP) Walker.

Jasper is writing today to let you know about the unexpected loss of his mother, Janette Inez Walker (Nelson).

My mother, Janette was born and raised in Forrest City, Arkansas. She moved to West Virginia in 2016 to be with me and my family due to the status of her health and after suffering another Stroke in 2018 her health required 24 hours of care and she was admitted to a nursing home.

On February 4, 2024, my mother was admitted to the Martinsburg’s local hospital here in West Virginia.

Her health continued to decline. Unfortunately on February 16th my family and I were told that there was nothing else they could do because of her weak heart.

The decision was made by my myself and my mother to place her with Hospice at my home.

On February 21st surrounded my family and I my mother transitioned to be with the Lord.

My family and I are absolutely devastated by my mother’s passing. As my mother's only child and the primary care provider for a family of seven, I was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and I am struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of my mother’s service. That is why during this difficult time, I am reaching out to you for help.

It would mean a lot to me and my family if you would consider donating if you are able to.
