Homeless Please Help

Hello, our names are Shante and Tony. We are a family of 5 (2 Adults & 3 Children). We are currently homeless, staying in and out of a hotel now and we are seeking any help that we can find to help with our current situation. We became homeless during covid, and we have been searching for and have exhausted all the resources that have been available to our family since then. Staying in a hotel day after day and year after year has caused me to lose so many jobs because we must pay almost $100 every day. If I don’t get paid every day or if I don’t get paid enough at that job I’m working at, my family and I will have to sleep outside because I won’t have enough to pay for our hotel room for the night. We have been holding up a homeless sign every day with our children panhandling until we can get enough for our room or until I can find a job where we can afford to pay $2000 a month for the hotel we’re living in. We have called 211 for years with them only being able to help us with the location of food pantries. We have been in contact with social services for years about our living situation and all they have been able to help us with is food stamps, but they have not been able to help us with housing even though we have been on the list for over 9 years. This is not the first post me we’ve made and although we were not successful at all with the first post, we are desperate at this point to keep our family together and to find a home for our children. All of this has taken a toll on our family, and we have a lot to make up for with our children, all we ask is for someone to have a heart and give us a second chance at having a normal life and we will be more than grateful we will be blessed. Lastly, I can say that fortunately, I start at Amazon next month and we have already put together a plan for our family to find housing, but for us to do that we need help to keep our hotel room paid for so that we can save up from my job to move.
