5yr old Easton involved in tragic burn accident.

Hi, my name is Krystal Overson. I am the neighbor of the Gomez family that has recently been involved in multiple unfortunate events.

As many of you may know 5yr old Easton Gomez was involved in a tragic accident involving a campfire that left him with multiple 2nd and 3rd-degree burns on 10% of his body. He has undergone surgery that involved skin grafting and re-celling the burn sites. Although Easton has been nothing but smiles and an absolute warrior he has a long road ahead of him.

If that alone is not tragic enough his father Robert Gomez completely tore his hamstring while trying to get to Easton to put the flames out that engulfed his body. He was then also hospitalized due to his injury that then caused severe blood clots. This has left this family with no income due to unpaid leave from work and as we all know bills do not stop no matter what you have going on in life.

If you know the Gomez family then you know they are the most kind, giving, and hard-working family. They never ask for help but are always giving to others in their time of need. We would love to come together as a community and relieve some financial stresses they are having so they can focus on what truly matters most getting everyone healthy.
