Help with Mom's (Delia Barajas) Caregiver Expenses

Hello, we are Delia Barajas' children and we are asking for help, for our mothers caregiver expenses.

At the end of August, a wonderful, family friend, gifted our mother a trip to South Dakota to go to Mt. Rushmore. This was on her "bucket list" and had been a dream of hers, since she was a child. At the age of 88, she was finally able to go.

She went on her trip and had a wonderful time! On her way back, she stopped in Arizona for an overnight visit with two of her children. Our mother slipped during the visit, breaking her ankle in two places. She is unable to put any weight on it and is requiring 24 hour care as she can only get around in a wheelchair, with the help of a caregiver. Thankfully, we found some wonderful help for her and all of us siblings have been pitching in to help, but financially, we are falling short. Our mother will need this 24 hr care, for atleast another 10-12 weeks, and then facing additional recovery, due to her osteoporosis. She simply doesn't have the means to cover this expense.

We are here, to ask for financial help for our mother, so that she can continue to get the care she needs, so that she can have a full recovery. She is on a fixed income and that just isn't enough to pay her living expenses plus the additional care she needs. Several agencies within the state of NM have been contacted, but are unable to assist.

We will greatly appreciate any help that we can get.
