March 2, 2018 was the day cancer was no longer a question mark in my life, it was a period. Like it or not, fair or not, I had joined the Cancer Club. I was staring at a biopsy report that said squamous cell carcinoma…and Amy Beth Biven.

I’m very fortunate that Medi-Cal is paying for my treatment. The state of California is not gonna let me die, just like Tiffany Haddish! (Watch her Showtime special, She Ready.) I am very lucky; I simply need help with my living expenses since I will be debilitated by my illness, and treatment. Your money will help me cover my rent, utilities, healthy food and cat supplies.

Before, I would’ve felt ashamed to ask for help. But now I have cancer! And it’s okay...

Also I wanted to shout out a huge thank you to everyone who supported my YouCaring page.
