Army Soldier

My son just returned home from deployment in Syria. He was scammed They stole all his money every last cent of it . All his sacrifice and time away from family and holidays alone all for nothing .Im so sad and angry and I don’t know what to do to help him . They called him saying someone had stolen his SSN and had his account information and that he needed to close his bank account and send the attorney general his money to hold while the investigation took place and a agent would come see him Monday . No one showed up and that is when he realized something was wrong. He was going to use his money to pay off his car and help his younger brother with his wedding . He is so sad and is beating him self for it I am so heartbroken for him . He has been wanting to be in the Army since he was a child and as soon as he could he enlisted he wanted to protect our country . He is an amazing young man always doing the right thing I just can’t believe something so awful could happen to such a good person like him. He notified the police and they said there’s was nothing they could do and just gave him a case number If you could please find it in your heart to help him out and to bring awareness so other service members don’t get scammed and hurt this way .
