6 Feet Closer: The Winter Action Project
Donation protected
In 2019, on any given night in Rhode Island, 1,055 people were homeless. That number is estimated to be much larger with the COVID-19 recession.
6 Feet Closer: The Winter Action Project brings the community together while physically staying 6 feet apart. The homeless population of Providence needs our help now more than ever! We're asking for donations of money to purchase:
- Gloves
- Hats
- Scarves
- Coats
- Shoes
- Socks
- Blankets
- Masks
- Hand sanitizer
- Tampons/Pads
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Tissues
- Chapstick
- Handwarmers
- Toilet Paper
- Deodorant
- Food
- Water
- And more!
Physical drop off locations to *safely* drop off any of the above items.
• Performance Adjusting - 1135 Charles Street, North Providence, RI
• Sarji Properties - 14 Breakneck Hill Road, Lincoln, RI
If you can't make it out, donate right here on GoFundMe!
Performance Adjusting is teaming up with local businesses and incredible individuals all around the state to help the homeless in Providence by giving out bags full of necessities.
A special thank you to Alexis Pollack (our director of social media and marketing) and her partner, Amber Lovejoy, for organizing this project after years of wanting to do this for the city of Providence.
