Help the Dutterer Family
Donation protected
On August 30th a group of Harley-Davidson riders were leaving North Carolina to head to the Harley-Davidson 115th Anniversary Party in Milwaukee, WI. Brian and Pollyann Dutterer, local HOG members but really more like family, were part of that group, on their 2018 Limited motorcycle. During that ride, just a few hours after the trip started, they lost control of the motorcycle and were thrown off of the bike into a rocky embankment. Both husband and wife have sustained incredibly serious injuries and had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital. Brian has already had his first surgery on a serious arm injury and Pollyann has a broken rib that has punctured one of her lungs. They both have already undergone the first surgery to set the bones in both of each of their legs. They both have a very long recovery road ahead of them that will include more surgery and rehab, all of which could take more than a month and then the longest part will start, learning how to live this very different life.
Brian and Pollyann are wonderful kind people that you feel like you have known for years within minutes of meeting them. They have 5 children and 4 grand children that desperately need our support. We are asking that you give what you can to help this loving family get through a horribly traumatic time. Thank you to anyone willing to help and God bless you all.
