Trying To Keep Up With My Education

Hello. My name is Alexis Faria. I am 15 years old. I am a sophomore at Lowell High school. I was born totally blind with a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplagia, (O.N.H.) In order to complete school work assignments, I depend on reading and writing braille. I spent my elementary years using a brailler, then in junior high, upgraded to a piece of technology called a braillenote. Now that I am in high school, I am noticing that the software and browsers are outdated, preventing me from being able to access certain files, programs, documents, etc. as the years go by and I advance to higher grades, I need a piece of equipment known as a Braille Sense Polaris, But the cost of it is too steep for my family and I to afford. This has left me in a desperate need for every kindhearted soul who would be willing to help me climb this steep hill. Anything that you could help me with, big or small, would be greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart!
