Veterans Handicapped Bus

My name is Jessica Sites and I am the Public Relations Officer for Combat Vets Motorcycle Association VA Chapter 27-3. We are raising money to rebuild this handicapped bus to give to Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Care Center located in Richmond VA on the Veteran Affairs McGuire Campus. We are a non-profit organization that dedicates its time to Vets helping Vets. This bus will give more residents of SBVCC a chance to get out and do more with their limited abilities. Many of these residents feel left out and lonely due to the fact that they don't have enough transportation to get around and go see or do things. Our vets are some of the most important people and should never be forgotten or left behind. Right now the most expensive item to repair on this bus is the air conditioning system. It will cost upwards of up to $6,500.00.
