Christmas For Everyone in Need

There are many families and children that will struggle or go hungry this Christmas. This year there will be many more that will either go without a meal or make hard choices as to what to go without in order to have a Christmas meal. We are teaming up with local businesses to provide a locally sourced Christmas hamper of essential items and some extra treats to make sure the whole day is a special one in these  particularly difficult times. We also want to use only local businesses in and around Watford as they have also been hit hard, they will be supporting us by making sure we get the best price possible on items we buy from them. We have put £1000 as the target as this will give us approximately 25 hampers but we hope to exceed this by as much as we can. The more we raise, the better our buying power is and the more hampers we can put together. Everybody wins!

The contents of this hamper will include the below:
Turkey Crown
Sausage Meat (stuffing)
Pigs in Blankets
Seasonal Veg (Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips, Brussel Sprouts etc.)
Gravy
Tin of Biscuits
Christmas pudding

If we raise enough and are able to, we will include 2 pints of milk, Loaf of bread and some tinned foods such as baked beans, soup etc.

This will close on the last day of November 2020 as we need to put orders in and also assemble the Hampers ready for collection.

We will post here and Facebook for location of where they will be available to be collected from closer to the time as this may change depending on how many we are able to put together.
