Supporting the Huff Family

The Huff women - Barb and daughters, Debbie, Darcie and Dawn - have faced their most challenging year with incredible bravery, humor and grace.  We know they "got this" - but their family and friends want to do more to help. 

Grief following the loss of Dave - beloved husband and devoted father - in July 2015 was compounded by Dawn and Darcie's diagnosis of two rare hereditary cancers just a few short months later.  While tending to her own health, Debbie continues to work tirelesly in care of her entire family and many know that Barb already waged a successful battle with Stage IV Inflammatory Breast Cancer decades ago.  Challenges seem relentless right now, but we know that struggle does not define this family.  Continued victory is certain.  

Proud aunts and uncles, loving cousins, unwavering friends and understanding co-workers continue to send love and prayers  from near and far.  And while many "boots on the ground" are hard at work in Roanoke,  there are many more that want to help in Erie, PA and beyond. 

Whether their families need to put gas in the car for doctor appointments, have a night off from making dinner, or take the kids to a movie for a bit of normalcy, even the smallest monetary support can go a long way to help the Huff, Corcoran, Sloan and Shaver families.  Gifts will be collected via GoFundMe over the next few weeks and be distributed to the women to help start the new year.
