Help Michael Sexauer with Stroke Aftermath

My name is Lindsay and I am fundraising for my best friend Michael Sexauer. He’s not just my best friend. O no, Michael has best friends all over this country. To say he is loved is an understatement. He is an amazing sibling, son, friend, yogi, artist and cat dad to say the least. Michael had a Hemorrhagic stroke this week and his life got flipped upside down. Currently in ICU with a drain in his brain and complete numbness on his left side. He will be in the hospital for the next 6-8 weeks until the swelling goes down and he can get a part of his skull out back on. From there, well, it’s a long road of therapy. At least a year of learning how to walk, speak and use his left arm again. His arm is what he is most concerned about because he does stained glass and yoga and cannot imagine a life without those outlets. I am in high hopes and I am doing my best to make this transition as easy as possible. He is truly one of a kind and means SO MUCH to so many people. With his willpower and network of friends and family I'm confident he will recover. Help us make sure that relearning how to live normally is his only burden.
