Emily’s journey

Emily, is a 9 year old girl from Prudhoe Northumberland and is fighting a battle with an extremely rare cancer in her liver. It’s called Undifferentiated Embryonic Sarcoma or UESL for short. She found this out at the Great North Children’s Hospital on her 9th birthday (10th July 2019) !!! 
 Today she has began her chemo treatments to try and shrink the 13cm tumour which is approx the size of a soft ball. 
 Emily’s Mam Kylie has not left her side and there is no time frame to how long this journey will last. The 6 weeks summer holidays is upon them and Kylie is now out of work although they are being very understanding and supportive, they have lost a non-refundable holiday already booked for Emily and her 7 year old sister Katie before Emily began this battle.
I have set up this page to help reduce the financial strain and to give the family something to look forward  to ( like a little holiday ) once Emily beats this and Kylie has given birth. Yes Kylie is 9 weeks pregnant so you can imagine the emotional pressure this family is going through.
