Help Maverick get surgery

Hi friends,

On friday we brought our one year old English Bull dog to the vet for an eye infection and learned it was far more serious than we thought. Our poor guy has ulcers in both eyes and needs urgent surgery. We were informed the surgery would cost $7500 which sent us staggering. There is a high likelihood he will need to be put down if we aren’t able to afford surgical intervention.

Maverick came to us through a friend of a friend who couldn’t keep him and he’s made himself a home with us these past two months. He just turned one in June and is still a fun loving, adventurous puppy. The idea of him losing his vision, eyes, or life is devastating to all of us. If you can help us afford care for our sweet boy, we would be so grateful.

We have explored pet insurance but as it’s now a preexisting condition, it won’t be covered. We are also seeking out a second opinion. We will do what’s best for Maverick to keep him from unnecessary pain and suffering if it comes to that, but we are hoping for a miracle for our wrinkly guy ❤️ please help if you can
