Gerard & Celine Toenjes' Adoption
Donation protected
Please join me in a campaign for my friends Gerard and Celine, an amazing couple who want to adopt a baby but need help to afford it! They have desired a child and prepared for one with diligence, but none ever came. Dreaming of starting a family, they moved to a small farm home in northern Washington because they believe a few acres of land with many farm animals makes a wonderful environment for future children to grow up in. Celine has been practicing the art of Montessori education by acting as an assistant teacher at a Montessori Preschool. She loves taking care of their chickens and garden and has a large heart for children. Gerard has been rounding out his skills in order to be the best father. In addition to his day job as an electronics technician, he does manual farm work on their property and enjoys the craft of chocolate making. While he looks forward to delighting his own child with chocolate one day, Celine imagines their child playing in the educational toy room she has set up for toddlers. This lovely couple are ready to give a child a good home. Please help them bring home a baby!
How much does adoption cost? A report from Adoptive Families Magazine found that domestic infant adoption costs families an average of $43,000. Click here to read a cost analysis of the adoption process.
Help us reach our campaign goal before the end of July! This will allow Gerard and Celine to finish the adoption process they’ve begun and go live with their adoptive parent profile - bringing them that much closer to being chosen by a birth mother and a baby placed in their home.
Please consider a gift of $10, $50, $100 or $1,000. Your financial gift will go towards adoption-related fees, including their home study, medical costs for birth mother and baby, and more.* Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please donate and then share this page with your friends!
*This campaign is solely for adoption process fees and does NOT cover normal baby gear, clothes, diapers or travel expenses between WA and the birthmother's state to pick up the baby.
Gerard and Celine say, "THANK YOU!"
