Help baby Noah
Donation protected
Hello my name is Dannielle and I am little Noah's aunty.
Noah was born on the 28th of may 2024, with gastroschisis
Unfortunately the doctors weren't expecting there to be as much out as there was.
He's already undergone 2 surgeries, Blood transfusion, xrays and so forth.
They started feeding him slowly and he was doing ok at first.
However they had to stop as he started bringing it back up, then he was throwing up everything and it was green.
The found that he had a blockage.
So they rushed him in to surgery.
Little Noah ended up with 2 stomas.
The doctor was very worried that he wasn't going to make it, he was pale and looked really sick.
They kept him in a coma for a week, then the doctors slowly woke him and took the breathing tube out.
They waited a few weeks before trying to feed him again.
He was doing so well and got to 18mls every 3hours, feeding from the top stoma to the bottom one for a few days to try and get him to pass poo through his bum but the tube kept coming out.
He then started throwing it all up again so they stopped feeding him, done xrays and it showed his bottom bowel was not working as it was restricted.
He will need to undergo further surgery in 3 months to remove part of his bowel to see if that helps with the block
It is the hope that the funds raised can help ease some of the financial pressures that Noahs beautiful mum and dad have and are to come and help pay for the medical costs as well as to assist them to move from Mackay to Townsville to be closer to Noah and the doctors. All funds will go directly to the family to use as they see fit. Any amount you are willing to contribute will go a long way. If you are unable to contribute at this time, please share this with as many people as possible. Let's band together as a community and as human beings and help a wonderful family in their time of need. As you could understand, this has put the family in an extremely hard financial position, having to quickly and unexpectedly make the move to Townsville to be by close to the hospital and by little Noah’s bed side.
I know times are tough and we’re all struggling big time at the moment, but if you are able to donate, even if it’s just a dollar, it will be so helpful and the family will be forever grateful.
