Ana’s Branchial Cleft Cyst Surgery

Hi ,my name is Ana Espinosa I am starting a fundraiser to help obtain Branchial Cleft Cyst surgery. My cyst became visible back in September of 2022, I followed up with my primary health doctor with concern of a swollen neck. My primary doctor by the name Paige Anderson & Dana Greer took a look and prescribed me with medication for the swelling, instructed me to take 2 pills per day with meals & after going thru 20 pills the swelling had gotten worse. Both primary health care providers then proceeded to refer me to an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist due to the prescribed medication doing no effect to minimize the issue but making it worse. I then followed up with Dr. Christopher Prichard, Otorhsonarian at one of his many Texas ENT Specialist offices to do a procedure where he numbed my throat & then used a special small camera to see the inside of my throat all the way past my vocal cords to diagnose me with a Branchial Cleft Cyst. Dr. Prichard explained to me that it is a rare birth defect that can get infected if not drained. TMI: At this time everything has become harder for me, my strength isn’t the same, my mental health deteriorates day by day due to limitations, this was my last option. Coming on the media with such vulnerability takes a lot but I don’t have anything else to lose.

I have been told that I am a very talented, bright, smart, kind, sweet & hospitable young hustler . I found out about my diagnosis at 21 years old, I have always been healthy & have never had any type surgery done before, my family wants to be there for her to see her accomplish all goals & ambitions.
