Funds For Fiona Connolly

You all probably know by now that our close friend and colleague Fiona Connolly, who has worked at the Blackrock Health Hermitage Medical Clinic since it opened over 15 years ago, tragically suffered a devastating brain injury a couple of weeks ago. She is a beautiful young woman, wife, and a wonderful mother to two young children.

Fiona has such a positive attitude to life, a wicked sense of humour and definitely is the calm person you need in any storm. She is extremely well liked by all her colleagues and patients in the hospital, and has made a huge contribution to so many departments throughout the HMC.

Fiona is currently recovering from surgery in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin but has a long road ahead of her. Whilst we all send her good wishes and lots of love, more practically, Fiona and her family will require rehabilitation therapy, expensive medical treatment and also support with the long term costs associated with her injuries.

Fiona has cared for so many people in her professional and private life and now it is time for us to care for Fiona.
