Stitch's Emergency Bloat Surgery
While on a Greyhound Pet Transport, Stitch bloated in Greenville, SC. He is at Upstate Veterinary Specialist in Greenville, for emergency surgery. Bloat is when the stomach twists on itself. It is extremely painful and must be corrected surgically immediately to save the dogs life. What is Bloat? Go to this link to read about it- https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951541 The estimate of the emergency surgery is around $2800 to $3800 if he also has to have his spleen removed. Then he will have to stay at the speciality care center for 2 to 3 days before he could even be transferred back home to Birmingham with each day being $700/800 per day. I've emptied everything that I have and I've borrowed the rest from friends to save his life. Stitch is my best friend and I have to save him if I can. I am not one that likes to ask for help but I will for Stitch. Thank you!
