Moving to Fairbanks, Alaska

My name is Chad Bernick, and I am running a GoFundMe fundraiser to help our move from Texas to Alaska in order to live closer to my children. I faced significant financial challenges after my divorce 4 years ago, with 39% of my income going towards child support. To secure a stable future, I relocated to the lower 48 states, obtained a commercial driver's license, and gained experience.

I remarried and have been diligently preparing for this move, but need additional assistance. I accepted a local job in Fairbanks 2 months ago and have been living in a modest dry cabin, relying on a borrowed truck. While my friends in the community have been incredibly supportive, we still lack some funds to complete our relocation.

We have made progress by making a down payment on a rental property and purchasing a roadworthy truck for the trip. However, we are running low on funds to cover the remaining costs of the move. Your support will help us bridge this gap and bring the rest of my family together in Alaska.
