A Helping Hand For the Harms Family

Over the past 6 weeks, Dr. Caleb Harms has developed what is being called a hypersensitivity pneumonitis / organizing pneumonia that has aggressively compromised his lung function. Unfortunately, no inciting cause has been identified and response to treatment has been atypical and limited.

Last week, he was placed in the lung transplant program. This can be a long and lengthy process, but it also provides time to see if any improvement might occur. He and his family continue to pray for a miracle but are preparing for the next step if required.

In the meantime, he is being treated at the UK Albert Chandler Hospital. Caleb is up for the fight, whatever that may look like—one day at a time.
