Help Denise get her eyesight back

Denise Cartwright, a mother, daughter, friend, and faithful worker is in need of medical aid. In April 2022, Denise was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. She was advised that the best course of action to save her eyesight would be to have laser surgery in both eyes and retinal and cataract surgery as soon as possible in her right eye.

 Being a single mother with no available health insurance, it took Denise, her family, and friends 4 months to raise the surgery money. While it’s fortunate Denise was able to receive laser surgery in both eyes and retinal and cataract surgery in her right eye. The laser surgery ended up presenting additional unexpected costs to the family. Without including the retinal surgery, the cost for the laser procedure alone was over $20,000.

Four months after her diagnosis, Denise was relieved that she was finally on her way to surgery. However, more bad news came. Because it took so long to raise the funds for the initial surgery, the eyesight in her left eye was now also severely compromised. This eye now also needs retinal and cataract surgery. Without the surgery, Denise will completely lose her eyesight in that eye. Denise would love to continue to live as normal with her daughter and family. As a single mother, friend, and faithful worker, Denise is asking for assistance to save her eyesight.
