House Fire

Hello,

My name is Latrice Alston, On Saturday November 18th, 2023 our home 1575 Ridgely Street was condemned due to a gas leak and explosion. We are completely devastated & lost with the feeling of the unknown.

In the prior weeks BGE had a private contractor to work on the main gas line, in which caused a leak. There was a live electrical wire that fallen and sparked a fire. The fire started next to our gas line in the basement that caused the explosion.

Unfortunately, we were not able to retrieve any of our personal items, but are looking at the blessing in our loss, that our lives were saved.

With the holidays approaching, we are asking for your help with any donations as we would like to try to start a new normal.
