Katie O'Halloran Benefit

Donation protected
Katie O'Halloran is a friendly, intelligent young woman in her early twenties. She lives in the village of Cill Chiaráin in the Irish-speaking area of west County Galway, and is currently doing a Masters Degree in Public Law at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
On the third of July 1991, Katie O'Halloran was born without arms and a short deformed leg. This came as a great shock to both her parents and medical professionals. Medical Professionals diagnosed Katie with a rare femur fibula ulna syndrome. Although the future at first seemed bleak, Katie overcame many obstacles, including defying medical professional's beliefs that she would never walk. Katie's achievements are a combination of both her sheer determination to succeed and her family's full support for her to achieve her independence. At present Katie is undergoing her masters degree in Public Law in NUI Galway. This organisation aims to raise funds to allow Katie to achieve her full potential in life by purchasing bionic arms. These arms would allow Katie to carry out tasks which many of us take for granted. Your help by either making a donation or giving your support for this worthy cause would change this young lady's life.
