BORINQUENEERS FLORIDA AWARDS CEREMONY was held on December 18th, 2016. We did it with your help and the help of the City of Kissimmee & the Puerto Rico Nation Guard. We now move to our next phase; The Legacy part of our mission.
We as patriots must; pay tribute, promote the legacy and educate the nation about their contributions to our nation’s freedom. This can only be made possible with the involvement of the community like yourselves in order to show our gratitude for their heroic deeds, in defending our Freedoms.
Funds received will continue to be used to purchased medals, certificates and nametags (living) and present them properly.
The Legacy phase will be announce in due time and we will need your help to secure it.
Reminder that NONE of these expenses are covered by any governmental agency or Public Law No. 113-120.

* Borinqueneers Tribute Package for over 200 Borinqueneers in attendance - Accomplished

* Puerto Rico's Borinqueneers celebration (BCGM CNC was a sponsor) - Accomplished
* Many CGM's being presented individually to Borinqueneers and their Next of Kin by our CEO Sam Rodriguez and other BCGM CNC Members - Ongoing
* Preparing for our Tax Returns and disclosed publicly all documents as required by IRS Law for Charitable Organizations - Accomplished August 2016
* Sponsorship of local events throughtout the Nation - being performed to present CGM replicas to our living Borinqueneers, Widows and Next of Kin - Ongoing
* December 18th, 2016 we conducted the Florida CGM Ceremony with The City of Kissimmee & The Puerto Rico National Guard. It was a success and more than 50 Borinqueneer; between living, widows and next of kin attended to receive their due recognition and presented with their replica of the Congressional Gold Medal... - Accomplished
* Presented as gratitude for their devotion, commitment and cooperation before, during and after the initiative of the Congressional Gold Medal to: The Museum of Military History of Kissimmee, The City of Kissimmee & St. Luke's Lutheran School at Oviedo, Florida... - Accomplished
An Educational Phase is in the planning process, to include a Tour of the Medal.
Please find it within your hearts to continue with your contributions and show appreciation to those whom gave all, for the Freedom we get to enjoy. Time is of the essence since the veterans are fading away with age, illnesses and being called by the Almighty. We must cooperate NOW!!!
ADVISORY (5/18/2016): Our campaign goal has been lowered to $30,000 we believe more will be needed in the future, but we must focus on the immediate tasks in hand. We must show our appreciation, raise to the level of the award bestowed to our Borinqueneers, while rasing awareness and time constraints to properly pay tribute to ALL...

SPECIAL NOTE: We kindly ask, use due diligence and research, before you commit with your financial contributions to assure you are aiding a duly Authorized and Certified Charity 501c3 advocating EXCLUSIVELY for the Borinqueneers. Currently, we are the only organization raising funds to benefit directly and completely the Borinqueneers for the above mentioned cause, and under the leadership of the Congressionally Appointed BCGM Liaison.
