You Posted What? Strategies for Teens
I am asking for a $500 donation to pay for my editor.
I've completed the initial draft of the book and have started working with my editor. She informed me that I had written two books in one!
Therefore, the first book is tentatively titled "You Posted What? Strategies for Helping Your Teen Use Social Media for Future Success."
I will publish "Beyond the Four Walls - The Impacts of Digital Education" later this year.
You Posted What? is a concise book that offers key strategies and action plans for parents who need guidance helping their teens successfully use social media while navigating our digital world.
Digital technology and social media profiles can be a powerful asset for students who understand how to use digital technology to their advantage. The goal of the book is to help educate parents on the positive aspects of developing a solid social media profile for college and future employment.
Learning and education is very important to me as I am dyslexic and had to work very hard in school. Ironically, I love to write and have been keeping a box in my closet for years that is filled with short stories, poems, business plans, and ideas.
Last year, I decided to write a book about the growing influence of our social media profiles and the positive and negative impacts of digital technology.
Becoming a published author has been a dream of mine since junior high. My teachers and parents suggested that I focus on a career that did not involve writing; however, I kept on writing anyway.
Before I send the book to Create Space, I need to pay my editor to review and help me finish the book.
It takes 60 days for Create Space to publish the book; therefore, the book will be published either in late March or early April.
I will provide updates on our progress.
