Restore Chee & Kia
Hello friends & family,
I’ve created this GoFundMe page in seek of help for a family member. My name is Choua and I’m the baby sister of Chee Xiong. This July 4th weekend as my brother Chee and wife (Kia) were out of town and home caught on fire.
It was roughly around 4am on July 5th when my brother Kou (house sitting) was woken by loud banging at the door. Still sleepy, he walked by Chee and Kia’s room to open the door. As he got to the front door he was quickly greeted with firefighters urging him to get out of the house. The firefighters rushed in and carried my disable father and directed Kou’s wife (Ana) out of the house as the flames grew larger on the back side of the house. Firefighters were able to get there just in minutes to save them and put out the blazing fire.
Everyone is safe, but unfortunately the flames, smoke, and water damaged their home. Chee and Kia's room was completely destroyed.
If you have ever met my brother Chee & wife Kia you can quickly conclude how selfless both are. They have supported and opened up their home to all of their siblings over the years. Their home was the center of love either housing a family member, hosting family events, hosting family/friends out of town and hosting friends of friends. They did it all selflessly. My brother Chee has always been kind, generous and loving towards everyone. He has helped out friends and every-one of his siblings more often that I've lost count because he wasn't counting. I've personally established what I have today because of his love and support.
He has never once asked anyone for financial help and even with this tragedy. He has yet to reach out, but my siblings and I are reaching out today and asking you who has met or known Chee & wife to support him in this tragedy.
Anything would help and a little goes a long way.

Funds would be used for food, new clothing & shoes for their three beautiful girls, new clothing for them, personal hygiene items, household items: new bed mattress, bedsheets, pillows, blankets, towels,…etc.

**Update**
The insurance company’s estimated that it would take until the end of the year to complete home rebuilding. Your funds will go towards the mortgage payment they still have to pay. Thanks everyone for showing so much love and support already. ❤️
