Randy's Recovery

On July 8th, while riding his motorcycle, Randy Edmunds was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

Randy was rushed to Kingston General Hospital in serious condition.

Randy has suffered significant trauma including but not limited to a hematoma on his brain, fractured pelvis, broken rib cage, double compound fracture to his left arm, collapsed lung... the list goes on.

Randy is still with us. He can talk, he is coherent and cognitive. Amazingly, he survived.

But the financial strain is immense.

He can no longer work his part-time position, his daughter Leanne has also had to take a leave from her position, as a Nurse to be by his side. It is going to be a long road to a hopefully full recovery.

Randy nor his wife have health benefits and as you know the government will only help with so much.

There is going to be extensive physiotherapy and home health care needs that will need to be paid out of pocket.

So here I am, asking to please help my favourite people on this planet during this hard time.

Randy is the most selfless person on this earth, anyone who knows or has been fortunate enough to come in contact with Randy knows he is a hell of a good guy. He is positive, he is hilarious and he loves life. He would do anything for anyone of you!

His wife Stella- does not drive and lives in Belleville. Leanne also does not drive, thus causing another financial strain- as they are currently paying to travel back and forth to Kingston in order to be by his side.

Leanne is a single mom of toddler twins- and now she is temporarily not working. This will also help relieve her financial stress during her temporary time away from work to help her Dad.

She is Randy's only child.

She is there to ensure he is getting nothing but the best treatment day in and out. But bills and financial responsibilities for both households (Randy's & Leanne's) do not stop because there has been an unexpected medical emergency.
