Help Amanda Fight Breast Cancer

I am starting this gofundme on behalf of Amanda Frye-Bengtson. She is an amazing and wonderful person who has been struggling these past few months. She has never hesitated to help people whenever she can. Now she could really use everyone's help. Here is her story:

 

"Mid September my life changed forever. The word breast cancer was just the beginning. This is not like any surgery, better 4 to 6 weeks and all is good and gravy. My cancer is called Ductal Carcinoma stage 1, grade 2&3. It's in the milk ducts.

 

After mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, a biopsy, and 2 lumpectomies, I now have to do 30 rounds of radiation, 5 days a week. Followed by reconstruction. I've had genetic testing done to see if there are other possible cancers.

 

This disease has cause a huge financial impact on the lives of me and my daughters. I've applied for every grant and foundation I could find to help. I'm behind on my rent and I am not receive social security or unemployment or cash assistance. Doctors have not cleared me back to work yet. I'm struggling to keep my head above water and still provide for my two girls.

 

I will be having a benefit as well in spring or summer but I really need some help during these months. Meal making, transportation, a friend to talk to, help with my girls and your prayers. I don't like asking for help but I need it.
