Christina’s Spinal Cord Injury
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Our Christina, outgoing vibrant & beautiful 23yr old was sadly involved in an accident on the 29th September 2018, doing what she loves.
Christina came off a motorbike, and has suffered lacerated spleen, punctured lungs, broken ribs, shattered her T5 & T6 which has therefore severed her spinal cord.

Christina has now become a Paraplegic from the top of her ribs down.
She is currently in ICU at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Christina has the rest of her life ahead with her recently Engaged fiancé James Wild, whom loves her very much.
These precious donations will assist Christina with Housing, Equipment, Medical & other support systems to assist her throughout her life.
Any donation is deeply appreciated!
Please spread the word and help Our Christina.
Love always

Update:
Hi everyone it’s Christina here,
Firstly I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that had donated ! James and i will be forever grateful
So Gofund me has asked for an update so here it is; I’ve obviously been discharged from rehab and back home in Tongala
We’ve got a temporary ramp for me to get into the house through the snooker room and have also attached a portable en-suite for my toileting/showering needs.
But I still need to get a ramp built for the back entrance and front door entrance. I’ve also had to buy a new Ute as my current Ute wasn’t allowed to be approved for modifications due to not being reliable enough and having too many KMs on it. I’m hoping in the next two months to be able to get back on the road driving.
We’ve bought some weights for me to use and we’re still waiting for some gym equipment to arrive but I’m hoping it will be here by the end of this month. I’m also fighting to try get a FES bike funded for me. It’s a 30k bike that will help stimulate my legs and help gain the muscle tone I’ve lost so fingers crossed it can be funded otherwise James and I will have to buy one and so far we haven’t had any luck due to it being such an expensive item.
This funding money has been so helpful as Centrelink do not classify me as being disabled and I’m not eligible to apply for disability payments (apparently I’m classified as independent because I have the use of my arms so only quadriplegics can get this payment) and I’m still currently off of work and don’t have any income protection so It’s helped pay the bills, food and also for new clothes as I’ve lost a lot of weight especially in my legs and have had to buy new pants and also shoes to make it easier for me to put on. I’ve also got to be careful for the types of clothes I wear to make sure I don’t develop any pressure sores.
We’re still planning to use the majority of this money to go towards buying this house and James would like to eventually concrete around the house and towards the shed to make it easier for me to get around. We would also like to renovate the kitchen as well as I’m currently very limited.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts you guys have no idea how much this all meant to us and thank you again to the sister in-law Steph Wild for creating this gofund me page you all have made the biggest difference in our lives and we hope you all understand how much it means to us love James and Christina xx
