- Hi, my name is Jacki Medvick and I am starting along side friends and family this fundraiser for our dear friend Dr. Nicki Naso. Nicki was recently in a horseback riding accident that caused a serious brain injury. Nicki has spent a week in ICU at Metro Health Medical Center and was stepped down from ICU yesterday. Her injury is DAI and it requires extensive rehab. In typical Dr. Nicki fashion, she is exceeding the expectations of her entire medical team. That being said she’s got a bit of work ahead of her. We are starting this fundraiser, because we don’t want her worrying about expenses while she’s recovering. Dr. Nicki owns a small animal veterinary clinic in Cleveland, where her mission is to provide exceptional, affordable veterinary care. The veterinary community has graciously pulled together to keep the clinic running on Dr. Nicki’s behalf while she recovers. That being said, her income will be significantly limited while she is unable to work. Keeping Nicki and her family focused on her recovery is our number one priority. Thank you for your prayers and support! Any donations is truly appreciated, but if you are unable to donate prayers mean just as much. Please also keep Chuck, the kids and Nicki’s family in your prayers as they are playing a key role in helping Nicki navigate her recovery. We all know she’s working hard to feel better, so she can get back to her family, friends and patients.
