My name is Shadi Issa, a heartbroken father watching my 5-year-old son, Ibrahim, suffer unimaginable pain. On November 16, 2024, Ibrahim was severely injured by shrapnel, and since that day, our lives have been shattered.

Ibrahim spent days in the hospital fighting for survival, but we were forced to bring him home before he had fully recovered. With limited hospital beds, we had to make way for another patient in urgent need.

I carried my wounded child to our tattered tent, where there is no warmth, no safety, and no comfort—only pain and despair. Imagine this: a little boy, covered in wounds, lying on a worn-out mattress in a fragile tent, while I sit beside him, helpless and unable to ease his suffering.

Doctors have told us that Ibrahim needs advanced medical care outside Gaza—care that is unavailable here. But with poverty and a relentless blockade, we can’t get him out without your help.
